E. Wade Walker, M.D. is a Family Practice Board Certified Physician who graduated from the Medical College of Georgia, Augusta, Georgia in 1995 at which time he attended Self Memorial Hospital Family Practice Residency Program, Greenwood, South Carolina completing the program in 1998. Dr. Walker has been serving Hartwell and surrounding communities for the since 1998.
JoDon Garringer, M.D. is a Family Practice Board Certified Physician who graduated from Indiana University Medical School, Indianapolis, Indiana in 1997 at which time he attended Self Memorial Hospital Family Practice Residency Program, Greenwood, South Carolina completing the program in 2000. He has been serving Hartwell and surrounding communities since 2000.
Jamison White, D. O. is a Family Practice Board Certified Physician who joined Hartwell Family Practice in July, 2011. He is a Hartwell native and a graduate of the Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine at which time he attended Seneca Lakes Family Medicine Residency Program completing the program in 2011.
MacKenzie Cheek, NP-C has returned to serve her hometown of Hartwell. She received her MSN from the University of Alabama in 2016 and has since been working in family medicine. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She has experience in managing a wide variety of conditions with women's health being her ultimate passion.
Brad Jones, FNP is an Elberton native, board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) accredited by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. He earned his Master of Science in Nursing Practice (MSN) from South University in 2018 and obtained his Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from the College of Coastal Georgia in 2016. With a solid background as a registered nurse in the ER, he has gained valuable experience as a FNP in both primary care and emergency medicine.
Austin Darbyshire, FNP attended Western Governors University where he earned his BSN in 2016. He moved on to graduate from the University of North Georgia in 2020 with his MSN. He is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) accredited by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. He has worked with HFP since 2022 and as of July 2024 can be seen periodically during our Saturday morning walk-in clinic.
